With a diverse background in higher education, Nompe's career at the University of South Africa has been dedicated to advancing sustainability initiatives, reporting and teaching.  She has held pivotal roles in integrated reporting, collaborating with stakeholders to produce insightful reports on the environmental, social, and governance performance. In addition to her reporting responsibilities, she lecture's on Sustainability and Green modules, conduct impactful research on climate change and sustainability, and perform carbon reporting, collect data for Time Higher Education Impact Rankings and analysis. Furthermore, Nompe mentor's postgraduate students through their master's thesis, fostering academic excellence and ethical scholarship.
